General Maintenance Homes and properties must be kept in good repair and free of damage, deterioration, or neglect to maintain overall community standards.
Landscaping Lawns, trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds must be regularly maintained, trimmed, and kept free of weeds, bare spots, and overgrowth.
Trash Trash must be properly bagged and stored in approved containers. Bins should not be visible from the street except on collection days, and loose garbage may not be left scattered on the property.
Unapproved Items Any exterior modifications, structures, or items (sheds, equipment, play structures, decorations, etc.) require prior HOA/ACC approval before installation or placement.
Vehicles Vehicles must be operable, properly registered, and parked only in approved areas. Trailers, RVs, and other oversized or prohibited vehicles may not be stored in driveways, streets, or visible areas unless allowed by community guidelines.

As a member of the Cannon Homestead Homeowners Association, Inc., you are cordially invited to
attend an Annual Meeting of the Association to be held at the time and place listed below:
Date/Time : November 9, 2025, at 2:15 PM
Location: Lonesome Dove Church, 2380 Lonesome Dove Road, Southlake, TX
The Annual Meeting will consist of a review of the Associations financial and operational activity
over the past year, electing new directors to fill the three (3) Board/Officer roles (President,
Vice President, and Treasurer) and one (1) Officer Role (Secretary). Addressing any new business
brought before the Association.
If you would like to nominate yourself for an open Board /Officers position, please return the
provided candidate form via mail or by email to annette@secure-mgmt.com on or before Friday,
October 10, 2025, by 1:00 p.m. After all nomination forms are received, the 2025 Annual Meeting
Packet will be mailed to all homeowners with additional information.

Who do I call if there is an emergency?
Emergencies situations include irrigation leaks or weather-related damage. Contact our office at 940-595-0584. Leave a detailed message with your community name, phone number and extent of damage. A staff member will contact as soon as possible.
What does the Association do?
The Association is a nonprofit corporation managed by the Board of Directors. During the development phase of the Association the Board is made up of the development company. Once the developer is ready to transition the Association to the homeowners an election will take place and homeowners will be voted in to serve on the Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for the oversight of the Association's funds, the enforcement of the deed restrictions, collection of assessments and the maintenance of common area property.
What are the CC&Rs?
The Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) are the governing legal documents that set up the guidelines for the operation of the planned community as a non-profit corporation.
